We as human beings are extraordinarily small, given the vastness of our universe. We like to think that in the greater scheme of the cosmos, we matter- but we don't. The knowledge that our existence on its own is utterly devoid of meaning is both the best kept secret and the most transparent commonality that we all share.
This is a beautiful thing.
In understanding this, we have the opportunity to make whatever choices we want to in our lives. Exploring ourselves, the world; even the vastness beyond it if we so choose. We are not confined by anything but the laws of physics and whatever rules we place onto ourselves. Though we may not mean anything to the unfeeling void we inhabit, as the conscious accidents we are, we are given the chance to create meaning for ourselves through whatever we do. I create my meaning here; by connecting deeply to others through all of my work. Laughing, loving, fighting, and reaching for truth while learning from every experience all the way to the end. Existence is palpable, and I want it to be be felt. I hope that together, we can accomplish something truly remarkable.
